Mobile Legends | Everything You Need to Know

Mobile Legends is, even to this day, the #1 online multiplayer on the mobile platform. There are over millions and millions of active players on a daily basis, making this the most highly active online game for mobile.

Mobile Legends is a Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game exclusively for mobile devices. However, do try out Mobile Legends on PC courtesy of Games.lol

It is heavily inspired by its PC counterparts such as DotA 2 and League of Legends.

The game was developed and published by a Chinese-based game company, Moonton. The game was released back in 2016 and ever since then, PC players who loved MOBA began migrating to their small devices to experience a more compact version of the MOBA genre.

Mobile Legends is a more simplified version of the MOBA category with easier controls, faster gameplay and quicker access to many of the game’s features.

If you’re asking how does MOBA work in Mobile Legends, it goes like this:

Just like in other classic MOBAs, two teams battle out in a 5v5 competition on a large map.

The objective is simple: destroy the enemy base’s Nexus—the giant crystal in the center of each base. Whoever destroys it first wins the game.

However, getting to the base is easier said than done.

The map is separated into 4 areas: Top, Middle, Bottom, Jungle. Players will then decide where they would want to go. But going there is no easy task as both teams have defensive turrets, minions, and enemy players.

Teams must cooperate, combining together their powers and abilities to destroy the turrets, the enemies that defend them, and ultimately, their Nexus.

Players are addicted to the game due to its endless combination of heroes and situational gameplay. Each match is unique from one another as well as your randomly matchmade teammates and enemies.
